ACCESSIBILITY

The Floor works towards full accessibility in our programming and services.

ACCESS: The Dance Studio and Pilates Studio on the second floor may be accessed via elevator. Please contact info@theflooronatlantic.com within 48 hours of rental to coordinate elevator usage. If you have specific access needs for a virtual or in-person event that are not listed, please contact us with as much advance notice as possible.

RESTROOMS: All of The Floor’s restrooms are single stall,  all-gender and accessible for wheelchairs and mobility devices. 

SERVICE ANIMALS: Service animals are welcome at The Floor. The ADA defines service animals as a dog that has been individually trained to do work or perform tasks for an individual with a disability. The task(s) performed by the dog must be directly related to the person’s disability.

FRAGRANCES AND CHEMICAL SENSITIVITES: The Floor utilizes essential oils and sage throughout the spaces in between and during classes. We cannot control the use of cleaning products, scents, or common food allergens within the building or by patrons. 

PARKING: Reserved parking spaces are not available at this time. Street parking on Atlantic Avenue is available, depending on time of day. Icon Parking has several lots in the neighborhood that are between 3-8 blocks away. 

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION: Closest accessible subway stations are Hoyt Street (2-3 southbound) and Jay St Metro Tech (A C F R). For more info directly from the MTA see the MTA Accessible Stations Map and the Elevator Escalator Status Page.
