SUMMER SESSION

This 6-week long program is designed to offer subsidized space to dance teachers to develop their pedagogy and class following without the steep financial burden of New York City space rental. The independence of this program allows instructors to build their own teaching model, class budget and personal marketing/artistic brand.

The program runs July 8-August 12 
Applications Due May 31

Class times are set:
Monday-Thursday
10am-12pm and 12:30-2:30pm

Rental Rate: $25/hour

The Floor recognizes the lack of support for dance teachers to work outside of the traditional employee teaching model. We are able to offer the space at this subsidized rate from the generous support of The Floor's community & our Artist Services Programming.
